How Christian Services/Love INC Works
Step One—Request For Help People who need food, clothing, shelter, budgeting assistance, counseling and family help - all kinds of needs - are referred to the Christian Services/LOVE INC office by churches, agencies, and others who know of the ministry—they call 517-394-5411.
Step Two—Analyzing Needs Christian Services/LOVE INC works cooperatively with helping agencies to analyze the need. Is the need real? What does the person really need?
Step Three—The Helping Church Requests for services not available through area agencies are referred to a Christian Services/LOVE INC Church Ministry Coordinator (CMC) to identify the volunteer and material resources in their church. A volunteer is matched with the need.
Step Four—Follow-up The Christian Services/LOVE INC office follows up with the Church Ministry Coordinator and the needy person or family to make certain the helping experience achieved its goal. |

A Strategy to Help Churches Help People
Mobilizing Church Members Christian Services/LOVE INC enables churches to identify their members' God given gifts and skills through the use of a Talent Tithe Inventory. A Church Ministry Coordinator is named by the church to work with Christian Services to get their membership involved in ministry.
Multiplying a Church’s Ministry Christian Services/LOVE INC's referral network links together the existing resources of churches in a way that expands their effectiveness.
Enlisting the Help of Agencies Christian Services/LOVE INC's networking approach is bringing an unprecedented amount of cooperation between the churches and the governmental and non-profit agencies serving our community.
Making A Difference While providing no direct services, Christian Services/LOVE INC enables people to meet real needs In the Name of Christ. Please consider how you and your church can join the growing network of Christian love. |
