Giving to the Christian Services Ministry |
|
Why Give? |
|
Your support enables Christian Services to connect thousands of families and individuals with the loving help of the church. Without Christian Services, the churches would not be equipped to help as many families. Without Christian Services, Carrie and so many like her would remain in crisis with no hope for a future for them and their children.
Here are some examples of how you can make a difference today: |

“When people ask me why I'm involved with Christian Services, I tell them because it is so humbling. Christian Services is a group of ordinary people doing ordinary things with extra-ordinary results. What makes it so humbling is that you just know that God is the one doing it all. God uses this place and these volunteers to care for His people in the Lansing area. It is amazing to me how every dollar given does so much good for the people it was meant to help.” -Dave Tebben, Christian Services Board & Supporting Member |

“Life with Christian Services has given our congregation the ability to reach out to the community on the south side of Lansing with success. I remember when we first started. There was a fire knowing that we could support our community and have other churches come alongside us and find joy in what we do together. We, as members of Christian Services, know that we are soldiers on the battlefield of life and that we win! Our church could not have done this ministry without the training, opportunities and unifying vision of Christian Services.” -Shad Williams, Outreach Dir., Macedonia International Worship Ctr. |

Without Christian Services my children and I would be homeless. I wasn’t earning enough at my part-time job to pay rent. My car broke down making it impossible to get my kids to daycare and get to work on time. My abusive ex-boyfriend said he’d take care of me and pay bills if I let him back in the home, but I was determined to do it without him. When I got an eviction notice I called Christian Services. The volunteer seemed concerned and asked lots of questions. They sent me to a church with a Quality Living Budgeting Class. The church helped me stay in my home, get help from Social Services, and manage my money. Another Christian Services church even found me a used car so I could keep my job. I can’t believe that people were willing to help me so much. -Carrie, Quality Living Budgeting Participant |
